Meet Magan, Your Down-to-Earth Therapist
Hi, I’m Magan Fontenot Bonner, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Texas, supervised by James Rogers, M.Ed., LPC-S. I primarily support teen girls and women navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, and emotional overwhelm,
and I also work with children age 8 and older.
My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in nervous system regulation, helping clients understand how stress and past experiences show up in the body.
I draw from CBT and TF-CBT principles along with mindfulness-based practices to support steady, practical healing.
I have advanced training in trauma-focused grief therapy for adolescents and provide support for complex and ambiguous loss — a type of grief that comes from losses without clear closure, such as family separation, deportation,
incarceration, or other ongoing separations.
My work is also culturally responsive, honoring how identity, family, and systemic stress shape each person’s healing journey. My goal is to create a warm, authentic space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered to grow at your own pace.
